On the Rocks: the American Pika
These tubby little bounders look like giant hamsters. They live in the rocks, amble out for a squeak each morning. And collect poisonous flowers to consume when rotting as food for winter...

This poor little swine has to live on his/her own... but he/she is extraordinarily cute...
